not to allow comments on my deviations.

if i ask for critiques, i will request them from artists i trust and admire.  letting the general public "critique" my work has turned out to be more of "this is ugly and i dont like it" than actual constructive criticism.

i think i'm good not having any of that around me.

because, and this is my point, if you think a piece of art is ugly, you keep that crap in your head and don't randomly dump it on someone else to make them feel as worthless as you do inside.
